Bryan Smith drafted by Philadelphia Eagles in third round

McNeese State defensive end Bryan Smith saw his dreams of playing in the National Football League come true during this year's draft.

Smith was selected in the third round by the Philadelphia Eagles and was the 80th pick overall-one pick ahead of highly touted LSU wide receiver Early Doucet.
